I had a jealousy flare-up tonight. I’m the poster child for the subset of guys who go Super Saiyan when they see a recent ex-girlfriend speak to any other man for more than three seconds. It’s an incredibly unChristlike attitude, and I need to purge it from my being, especially since it’s a scenario that’s virtually impossible to avoid on a campus this small.
We won another match at volleyball intramurals tonight. At one point, I served eleven straight aces. I did it while wearing an outfit comprised entirely of adidas clothing, and I attribute my strong play to this X-factor.
A Brazilian guy purchased $2,100 worth of clothing from us tonight. He said that, by shipping it home and reselling it above MSRP, he expects to make a $10k profit. I need to investigate this business model.
Tomorrow is the Scars of Mirrodin prerelease. I’ll be battling at Misty Mountain Games in Madison, alongside my 2HG partner, Ben Strayer. I fully expect to keep my undefeated 2HG record intact.
I read a little today about Count Nicolaus Ludwig von Zinzendorf, the leader of the storied Moravian missions community. He once made a statement that I hope to claim as a personal truth someday: “I have but one passion: It is He, it is He alone. The world is the field and the field is the world; and henceforth that country shall be my home where I can be most used in winning souls for Christ.”
